Hello World!

Welcome to my page.

As a short introduction to my professional career.

I've been working for a software & cloud company for over 8 years in our customer care department and currently working as Staff Support Engineer which is relevant as a back-end engineer, my work area involves having fast and critical thinking to resolve critical products software related issues.

I'm very comfortable working with new technologies and getting outside of my comfort zone. In the current year 2022, I'll be moving to Cloud Engineering to work with more complex environments.

Last year, I decided to take a refresher on front-end and back-end technologies through the MIT Professional Certificate program and get the knowledge that I need to upskill in my career as a Full Stack Developer.
Besides being working in multiple technologies and finding better ways to improve myself, I also challenge myself into different sports, I play soccer(football) and still do some weightlifting. In 2017, I obtained place #6 in the Costa Rica strongest Man heavyweight category, and I think I still have it.

As Costa Rican and grow up in a small coastal town, with 8K habitants, no skyrise, just palm trees, I moved to Chicago, IL in 2018 after working remotely for over 5 years, so when I'm not in Chicago suffering the winter, I escape to my hometown to enjoy some sunlight.
